Laurel is trying so hard to turn over...She is funny in that she will get all the way over except for her one arm. One day she'll figure that out and feel so free!
Laurel recently started school where Mom is working and she has two new friends. Mary Grace on Tuesday and Thursday is a couple of months younger and Shep on Wednesday and Friday. He is a few weeks older. Laurel and Shep seem to enjoy each other and were apparently talking a lot today! If only we knew what they were saying!
Today was an exciting day for Mom because Laurel has started to play with toys...namely the ones hanging in her carseat carrier. This is so fun to watch her see the ability she has to make and shape her world! Cause and effect is so cool for her!
As of yesterday, Laurel is 16 weeks old! Amazing! Any tips on how to get her to take naps? She doesn't seems to take many which means she gets progressively grumpier as the day wears on. On the plus side, she ends up sleeping 10-11 hrs. at night! I guess I shouldn't complain.

Ugh, the naps. Does she have blackout shades in her room? Having the room totally dark and a noise machine on helped us. A little bit, anyway. Good luck!
