Today we found out that Laurel's Bili levels have returned to normal...so no more blue light to lay on 20 out of 24 hours! We can start enjoying our little girl again. Right now she is sleeping in her swing...it is so nice to have her back!
The past few days have been relatively quiet. On Sunday, Laurel spent time with all four grandparents. Jay's parents cam down for the afternoon and Rachel's dad came back from a Princeton reunion (40th!) to pick up her mom on his way home.
Last night was our first night by ourselves and we made it without falling apart! Jay took the 1am feeding and Rachel got to sleep. What a difference 5 hours of sleep can make! Today we took it relatively easy...sleeping a lot through the morning in between feedings before heading to the doctor.
That's it from us...we're a little boring right now.
Tomorrow we are supposed to vote...we'll see how that goes...this time we are feeling slightly ignorant about who is running for what...maybe we'll try to educate ourselves this evening in between feedings...
